Let me start by dispelling the hype. 120hz is all hype (when it comes down to actual user perception). I notice no difference in 120hz vs. 60hz. It's analogous to 1080p vs. 720p. If you sit more than 10 feet away, the 1080p on this tv is even overkill. This TV offers none of the internet apps, yadda yadda. I see this as a positive. I don't want my TV to have this. You ask why? I don't want it because you have to pay for it (it's included in the price trust me)! I already hook my computer up to my TV so I have no need to pay for something I don't use. I also don't need 5 or 6 hdmi ports. I have a receiver for that. This TV is ideal because it offers the bare bones tv in an affordable price. The screen clarity is beautiful for watching TV or when I have it hooked up to my mac mini. I don't use the TV speakers much but they are fine. I would buy another one but the price is higher than when I bought it back in the fall 2010. This TV should be priced right around six hundred or below
